Lab Supply was pleased to welcome Diane Arbabi and John Roiniotis from Merck Life Science on their recent visit to New Zealand. Their time in New Zealand offered a valuable learning opportunity for the team at Lab Supply.
To mark the visit, Lab Supply hosted two morning teas, one at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland, and another at the Department of Pathology at the University of Otago in Dunedin. Both gatherings brought together staff and students for relaxed, engaging conversations about current research, new technologies, and the ways Merck and Lab Supply can continue to support the work happening within these leading institutions.
The Lab Supply customer service and sales team was also privileged enough to attend two training sessions. A highlight of the visit was when in one of the training sessions, Bridget was given the opportunity to trial the mPAGE® Lux handcast gel system and with the assistance of John, casted a gel in just three minutes.
As Lab Supply marks 15 years supporting science across Aotearoa, partnerships like the one we share with Merck continue to play a vital role in nurturing innovation, connection, and progress. We are grateful to Diane and John for taking the time to travel all the way from Australia, and to the teams at the University of Auckland and the University of Otago for welcoming us so generously. As sole authorised distributor, we collaborate constantly with our Merck counterparts working as one team to collective support NZ customers.
