Tris-Buffered Saline, pH 8.0, is a commonly used wash buffer that is isotonic, nontoxic, and suitable for cell culture and electrophoresis applications.

Application
Tris-buffered saline is intended for use in:
- Sample preparation

Preparation Note
Contents of one pouch, when dissolved in 500mL of distilled or deionised water, will yield a 1x solution containing 50 mM Tris, 138 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, pH 8.0 at 25 °C. Certified to be DNase, RNase, Protease, and Nickase free. Certified for use in cell culture.
Store at room temperature. The product may naturally agglomerate, but can be simply broken up within the pouch prior to use.
